By Finding Friends who Like what you Like

Have you ever wished that you had a better social life, or were more inventive with your recreational activities? Maybe you know exactly what you love to do but just don't know anyone who shares your interests.

If you were dating there were be so many avenues to meet new people or if you just wanted to reconnect to those you have lost touch with, again there are many many of ways to do that.

But what if you are a grown adult who has outgrown who they were as a teenager and meeting high school or college friends is as relevant to your life today as a Hollywood science fiction movie. It's an enjoyable diversion for a short time but it lacks connecting with you who really are.

You are not looking for date or night out but instead you are looking for people, men and women, just like you who enjoy the same things as you. You are too old to be  just hanging out and not doing what you want but too young to be sitting at home watching tv. You know exactly who you are and what you like but wish it was easier to meet like minded people.

You could join groups or clubs but then you still feel like the odd man out or the third wheel. Why not find others who are wishing for more in their lives? 

I am learning so much as I build this website and community. You think when you have an idea and everyone loves the idea that it will just come together easily.

When you open a store or any other physical business, people drive by and they see you. Maybe they wonder what you are about and come in for a stroll and ask some questions. Once they understand what it is, usually when they go home they will tell others, "Guess what I found today?" and as long as there is consistent quality and value they will come.

On the web, it is not so easy to see us. You need to know that we are here and come. So our job is to find people and show them what we have to offer and if a better social life and doing the things that they love with people who also love it, is important to them, then they can become members. It is kinda like a game of hide and seek like when we were kids. You are hiding and I am seeking. LOL
